Ask anything about your money

Ask a question in plain words and get an answer from your own books, with the report each figure came from.

What this is

The box at the top of every page (or ⌘K, Ctrl+K on Windows) opens a conversation with your books. Ask how last month went, who owes you money, what needs your attention, or what you spent on fuel, and the answer comes back from the same reports and lists you can open yourself. Every figure names the report and period it came from, and the names are links.

What it can see

Exactly what your role can: Today, transactions, invoices, customers, vendors, the chart of accounts, the profit and loss, balance sheet, trial balance, and the aging reports, plus the review queue. It reads; it never changes anything. Owners, Bookkeepers, and External Accountants can ask; the box doesn't appear for an Employee, or for a business that turned AI off in Settings → Connected AI tools.

What it won't say

It describes what the books say and stops there. It won't tell you whether something is deductible, allowed, or required, or what you should file. Those are questions for your accountant, and it will say so and offer the figures that would help.

What's kept

Each question counts as one AI operation against your plan, like a receipt read or a categorization. The question, the tools it used, and the answer are written to your audit log under your name. Nothing else is stored; the conversation lives in the box until you close it.
