Inviting your accountant

From settings, invite your accountant by email and they join as an External Accountant — a role built for someone working in your books from outside your business, not billed as a seat on your plan.

What they can do

An External Accountant can see every report, run tax exports, and post adjusting entries — including into a period you've already locked, so a year-end correction doesn't mean reopening the whole month. They can't manage your team, change billing, or touch anything outside that scope.

The audit log

Every action anyone takes — who did it, what changed, and when — is recorded in an append-only audit log that Owners, Bookkeepers, and External Accountants can all view. It's there so any number in your books can be traced back to where it came from, which is exactly what your accountant needs to sign off on the file with confidence.

Handing off at tax time

Working with an accountant inside Nummio year-round means tax season starts from a set of books they've already seen, not a fresh export they're seeing for the first time.
